Robert Hutchinson is listed in Baines Directory 1823 as a corn miller. The mill stood on Station Road, Ryehill on the site where Mill House now stands. Ann, his daughter, my great-great grandmother worked as a female servant to Mary Johnson, who farmed at Ryehill. In his later years Robert moved to Patrington to live with his daughter, Ann and her husband, where he died in 1872
