| Robert Jackson Elliott |
Robert was an agricultural labourer, born in Garton, and worked on the farms around the Fitling, Garton, Humbleton areas. Robert married Sarah Ellis Hutchinson from Ryehill. They initially lived in Fitling, but moved to Sunk Island in 1874/5, where their final three children were born. They lived at Cottage Row Old Hall Lab. Cottage. Robert died in 1904, Sarah in 1906, and both are buried in Sunk Island churchyard.
